Curriculum
We believe that children learn best when they are
actively involved in their own learning. We emphasize
learning through enriched play experiences and social
interaction.
We value the unique opportunities to nurture each
individual's personality, learning style and cultural
identity. Our classrooms are carefully arranged to
provide for a wide range of opportunities for children to
explore, discover and manipulate in the world around
them. A child may choose from center activities such as:
* Art
* Science
* Library
* Blocks and Cars
* Puzzles
* Dramatic Play
* Manipulatives
* and much more
We strongly believe that fresh air and physical activity
are essential to each child's well being. Our schedule
allows for each classroom to have two outside times per
day.
When we can't go out, we are fortunate to have the
church's dining hall for active play. We also host family
events in this space that have become popular with our
families.
